Among the underlying components of the S&P 500 index, we saw noteworthy options trading volume today in Bank of America Corp (BAC), where a total of 242,976 contracts have traded so far, representing approximately 24.3 million underlying shares. That amounts to about 54.8% of BAC's average daily trading volume over the past month of 44.3 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $30 strike call option expiring July 26, 2019, with 28,872 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 2.9 million underlying shares of BAC. JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) options are showing a volume of 62,670 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 6.3 million underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 54.1% of JPM's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 11.6 million shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $110 strike put option expiring September 20, 2019, with 8,400 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 840,000 underlying shares of JPM. And Equifax Inc (EFX) options are showing a volume of 3,421 contracts thus far today. That number of contracts represents approximately 342,100 underlying shares, working out to a sizeable 51.5% of EFX's average daily trading volume over the past month, of 664,685 shares. Particularly high volume was seen for the $145 strike call option expiring August 16, 2019, with 970 contracts trading so far today, representing approximately 97,000 underlying shares of EFX.
